In collaboration with our partners Jotta, we are going to be taking a curated group of our artists to The Other Art Fair this weekend and are really excited to see what the event will offer.

A relatively new kid on the block, The Other Art Fair focuses on emerging artists and we think it’s the perfect platform for us to promote the artists Made in Arts London Represent.

We are delighted to be taking original paintings by Jacob Eaton who graduated from BA Painting at Camberwell College of Art this summer to the fair. Jacob’s assured paintings first caught our eye at his degree show and it’s been fantastic to find out more about how they are made.  We will also be taking editions by Katy Binks (MA Fine Art, Printmaking Camberwell 2013), Brad Rose(BA Graphic Design, Camberwell 2012), Karen David (MA Fine art Wimbledon 2012) and Ralph Ward (BA Photography, Camberwell 2012).

On Saturday Made in Arts London are also hosting a panel discussion: Are we really ‘the lost generation’?In which we will be discussing the troubles facing today’s creative graduates, asking whether are in fact tougher now and exploring the dynamism and  that creative people have always been good at finding.

Speakers will include  Justin Hammond, founder of the Catlin Art Prize and Nick Kaplony, an artist and also program coordinator at Artquest who will be sharing their experiences and what they do to help emerging artists.

The discussion will also feature some of our artists: Karen DavidKaty Binksand Jacob Eaton who are all at the crest of their creative careers and will be sharing their thoughts, experiences and optimism.

The talk will be hosted on Saturday 24th November from 3-4pm, for more information and to book your place, visit the Other Art Fari website.

Hope to see you there!
