Oh boy have we got some exciting news for you!
Made in Arts London are teaming up with We Built This City and taking over the top floor of their stunning Carnaby Street store to bring you a fantastic week long Pop Up Shop showcasing the very best in emerging art and design.
Brain child of MiAL Board Member, Alice Mayor, We Built This City is a brilliant initiative that is revolutionising London souvenirs! With London now the most visited city on the planet – and being home to one of the most creative communities in the world – they thought it was high time that souvenirs reflected the true creativity of the city whilst supporting homegrown talent at the same time.
Supporting London based talent is something that we feel very strongly about as well, and so came about a match made in heaven!
Taking place during London Design Festival, MiAL’s Pop Up Shop will give you the chance to buy affordable art and design from some of the most talented students and graduates from University of the Arts London. With a fantastic collection of illustration, limited editions, artist books, homeware, fashion, accessories and more there will be something for everyone!
As well as selling lots of fantastic goodies, we’ll also be hosting two artist workshops:
